Sample Build Notes
All sample builds use a RP/service/production profession with no stats/proficiency bonus as a baseline.
All weapons and armors are assumed to be GC'd, but this will rarely be the case (aside from the GC Wood Maul/Spear stat booster, which are extremely cheap to MC). In practice, you only need to prioritize getting gears with +8 Critical Hit to reach the build goal of 79/112 total for the optimal crit pattern, without having to spend excess points. Other stat bonuses do not need to be maxed.
Weapon upgrades have been minimized to reduce the burden on finding good MC.
You are free to use looted or market bought gears (ideally, the Survivor's weapons series with no proficiency requirement). Do note that most early to mid game pistols/rifles only come with High critical chance and will not work as well as the suggested ones here.
When a weapon says Level X+ , it means upgrading at that level is not critical, and if not regarding a 120 prof weapon, may be skipped; it's usually better to do so when reaching a later outpost and/or having a lot of money.
Recommended outpost progression path: Nastya's Holdout (level 1-10) -> Precinct 13 (level 11-25+) -> Fort Pastor (level 25-40) -> Secronom Bunker (level 41+)
Precinct 13 is favored over Dogg's Stockade due to its superior Venditron selection, and fast travel for quick access to the Wastelands later on.
Level 49 is the last point at which you can utilize your free Stat Reset. Afterwards, you should think whether to continue with your chosen build, or use your Stat Reset to switch to another one.
